Not as common a sighting as the other mergansers, these Hooded Mergansers were seen in two separate locations. The first picture is a female and she was seen in Fernie, BC, the second is a male and he was seen at the 68th Street Wetlands in South East Calgary. These are such pretty diving ducks.
